In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), the following information is provided regarding the collection of personal information on this portal:

• Authority: 5 U.S.C. 301 (Departmental Regulations); 14 U.S.C. 504 (Coast Guard Command authorities); and Department of Defense Instruction (DoDI) 1015.10 (Military Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Programs).

• Principal Purpose: To verify identity, manage member portal authentication, coordinate reservations, and facilitate secure access to base morale documents, SOPs, and Sail Plans at Coast Guard Base Ketchikan.

• Routine Uses: The name, email, phone number, and account credentials provided are used strictly to authenticate members and route rental requests to authorized MWR staff. No data is shared with external commercial third parties.

• Disclosure: Voluntary. However, failure to provide account details will prevent you from accessing the secure member portal and its internal documents.

Information Collection, Accounts & Data Flow
This portal maintains a distinct segregation of data based on access level:

• Public Portions: We collect name, email, and phone number on public forms strictly as a pass-through to route rental inquiries directly to official government forms.

• Member Portal: To access internal files (SOPs, Sail Plans, etc.), members must register an account. We collect and encrypt account login credentials (email and password).

• Data Protection: Public form entries are not permanently stored on the commercial web server. Member authentication profiles are securely encrypted using standard host-level security.
