Ketchikan’s maritime environment is dynamic and can change in minutes. High tidal ranges (up to 20 feet), sudden wind shifts in the Narrows, and low-visibility rain squalls are standard here. Before every departure, operators are required to review the live data below as part of their official Sail Plan.
